Difference between Discrete and Continuous Fields in Tableau Desktop explained!
Note: Do not get confused between discrete/continuous versus dimension/measure. Dimensions can have both green and blue pills (if they are cont. dimension and discrete dimension respectively).
While its true that dimensions are mostly discrete and measures are mostly continuous, the blue and green colours only hold for discrete/cont property and not dimension/measure property.
